Quooker PRO3B - boiler tank update

Updated: Nov 22, 2021

Dutch boiling water tap giants Quooker have recently released an updated version of their boiler tank system, the new PRO3B tank.

Previously as part of the installation, all Quooker systems were supplied with an inlet combination valve (combined isolating, pressure reducing valve, and pressure relief valve). The vented tun-dish attached to the side of the inlet valve allowed excess pressurised water to escape through a hose and off to the nearby waste. Positioning this inlet combination valve up high was required in order to accommodate a fall and form a trap which could sometimes be a challenge in tight spaces.

OK, so what's different?

Quookers new boilers now contain a bellow type system that allows for the expansion to take place within the tank itself, negating the need for a waste connection. This not only saves space underneath an already congested sink cupboard but makes installation much more flexible and easier.

Pricing for the updated Quooker PRO3B boiling water tap systems remain the same, starting from £950 RRP upwards. Here at AllSalts we offer a supply and installation service including all of Quooker's range of accessorises with installation prices currently at £99. Based in Westcliff on Sea - Essex, AllSalts can cover anywhere from Chigwell to Colchester, Maldon to Great Dunmow.
